I have considered that we are haunted…

We are haunted by our memories, fears, and desires. They are what drive us, what makes us who we are. My memories bring a certain texture to my art that is uniquely my own, the dreams of a queer kid in the Midwest made manifest. My fears present themselves in my adoration for horror and the macabre, my nightmares critiqued and analyzed by an artist’s mind. My desire is to create; share my dreams and nightmares through art, and create something beautiful out of it. That is my spirit.

I graduated from Ball State University in 2024, with a major in Theatre Design and Technology with a focus in Costume Design. I have always had a love for character design, wondering why their artists made them that way, what it all meant. So, I decided to become one of those artists. I hope that my art will connect to the strange kids from small towns that feel like they only fit into fantasies. I hope my art can show them that standing out is not necessarily a bad thing.
